Defense
We understand the nature of military projects. While many are unclassified, others may range between interim secret and top secret. Our professionals have worked with the Department of Defense, base commanders, and resource management agencies to assure that each project was completed in a manner that met the relevant policies and regulations. Some of our professionals have held program specific secret clearances, and are able to be cleared again if required.
Base Reuse
Over the past two decades, the United States military has combined, rescaled, and closed select bases in an effort to optimize its effectiveness. Our base reuse experience includes redevelopment of former military properties, and reclassification and reconfiguration of base roadways. Our professionals have provided planning research, community studies, and feasibility studies for annexation of these uses into nearby municipalities.
Military Aerospace Facilities
New military aerospace facility projects and the operation of existing facilities can affect nearby communities. This in itself necessitates environmental review. Our military aerospace experience includes active military bases and airfields, rocket test facilities, and missile launch complexes. Our professionals have provided environmental impact assessment and technical studies on these uses.
US Army Corps of Engineers Projects
United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) projects include military and non-military uses. Our experience includes projects where USACE was the lead or cooperating agency on roadways, bridges, and public infrastructure. Our professionals have provided environmental impact assessment, public involvement, and technical studies for these uses.
